This cruise started well, we received 2 for 1 pricing, our room was upgraded to an outside cabin with a full view window. Then after the first night, our request for 1st dinner seating was granted and our table for two came with an ocean view with whale watching, on tap, most evenings. The entire staff made you feel really welcome and offered great service. The entertainment was top notch. There were 5 main shows and the outside comedians and singer were wonderful. The theatre on the Royal was less than optimal; however, the performances made up for it. The food was fantastic!
The weather was spectacular and every tour (except one) was fantastic. We saw bears, bears, bears! breaching whales! otters, seals, sea lions, eagles, puffins and the most beautiful scenery ever put on this earth.
This was our third Princess cruise to Alaska (we will go again) and each has been filled with unforgetable memories. This one was unique for us in that it did not include a land trip. We had already visited Denali and on another trip Prudhoe Bay and the "haul road" to Fairbanks. This one was the Princess Connoisseur tour and we enjoyed visiting Icy Point Strait(Hoonah), Kodiak and Tracy Arm. This was our Alaska Cruise From Heaven!
